From the email sent out today:
Many undergraduates enjoy experimenting with electronics, which may be the reason that they chose to study Electrical Engineering. The establishment of an audio electronics club will allow undergraduates to work together as a team, drawing upon the knowledge learnt in lectures and labs, to create practical circuits. The current idea is for members to decide upon a particular project in (but not necessarily limited to) the audio subject area and to design, build, test and demonstrate the project. This process will inevitably lead to an exchange of knowledge and experience between undergraduates and (hopefully) interested members of the academic staff and hopefully a dickload of fun =)
