Textbook borrowing
Textbooks are insanely expensive. To save students from starving themselves to afford textbooks they might only read a few times, you can now borrow textbooks overnight from the ELSOC office, for free! You can see what books are available here.
There's just a couple of rules:
- You must leave your student card at the office as collateral.
- The book must be returned by mid-day the next day.
- Borrowing is strictly overnight, or over the weekend if you borrow on a Friday. However, if no-one wants to borrow it the next day you can re-borrow it.
Just drop by the ELSOC office (room 244, EE&T building) during one of the open office times to borrow a book. You are recommended to make a booking using the online booking form to make sure it will be available.
